"Maybe we should turn the printer on and off." Now 3 people stood shock-still as they waited for the printer to laboriously go through its self-test sequence.
"Look it's printing... No, wait... What's this?" A sheet of paper was held up, conataining nothing but lots of little letters and a nice, bold manufacturer's logo.
"That's not it, it's just the test page. Can you browse your Network Neighborhood (TM)?"

"Wait guys, that's not it. There's nothing wrong with the printer. Hadley downloaded a virus from the web onto the network."
