My Personal Thoughts
August 31, 1997 - The world became a darker place. On this date, the Lady Diana, Princess of Wales died in a terrible auto accident, although this was no accident. She was killed by a manifestation of the worst parts of human nature. Because of this, the world has lost a charming, beautiful and genuinely caring lady; and there are now 2 teenage boys who are motherless, bereft of the humanitarian touch that they so desparately need.
As for myself, I never realized the greatness and virtue of this lady until it was too late (even though my girlfriend would tell me about it all the time). Well, now it is too late, but it is not too late for all of us to follow her example: to rise above the common throng and truly make the world a better place.
She may be gone, but her memory will live forever.
