My Personal Views on the Paparazzi

Obviously, what happened is a terrible tragedy. It is even more so because it was completely preventable. Boycotting the paparazzi is a good first start. However, I feel that the paparazzi are not the only problem. They represent the extreme, to be sure, but they also represent the disturbing trend that news reporting is taking. News reporting in general is no longer content with reporting the news. They have begun to cross the line into making the news. I hope that if any good can come out of this, that it will be that we all take a step back to examine ourselves, and at what price should we slake our thirst for sensationalism?
